The browser is not going through the address

It is almost always the port, an extension, or a doubled configuration.

When the browser ignores the address, the page opens through your real IP. You can confirm it on My IP: if the IP shown is your home one, the address never entered the path.

The order to check

Check the port first. Then see whether two proxy extensions are on at the same time, because one undoes the other. Last, see whether the operating system has a proxy of its own configured, which applies to every program and fights the browser one.

Test a single site, in a private window, with a single extension. If it works there, the conflict is in the rest of the configuration.
