The browser asks for three things: the host, which is the IP; the port, 20001 for HTTP or 20481 for SOCKS5; and, if you did not authorize the IP, the username and password.
What matters most
One browser profile per address. Mixing two addresses in the same profile merges the cookies of both and undoes the separation you wanted.
The profile timezone and language need to match the country of the address. A profile in Portuguese with an address coming out of the United States is a contradiction the site can see.
