Log in with a username and password, or by authorizing the IP

Two ways to prove the connection is yours.

Every address accepts two ways in. The first is a username and password, chosen in the order, 3 to 20 characters. The second is authorizing the IP you connect from, and then no password is asked.

When to use each

A username and password suit you when your IP changes, like a home connection that gets a new address. Authorizing the IP suits you when the connection always leaves from the same place, like a server, and you do not want a password sitting in a config file.

The two can live together. Authorizing an IP does not erase the username and password. The limit is twenty IPs per account, and each one can have a name so you know which machine it is.

Where this lives

The username and password are born in the order and can be changed on the service page without touching the addresses. The IP is authorized in the panel or on My IP, which already shows the address you are visiting from.
